Giving Some Love Energy to Our Son's Room

When I was a school teacher, one of the things I loved doing most was creating an environment with a lot of loving energy in it.  We've tried to bring the same approach to our son's bedroom.  Their not high art, but I think it means something to create a piece of art for your child and put it in his room as a presence to be one of many expressions of his parents' love for him. Plus, it models for the young one so many different, important things. And right next to the Tiger I drew from pastels, the hippo and the cover of Go Dogs Go! I also made for him, are of course lots of Wyatt's own creations from Montessori, which several years later still have the same bright energy similar to my own classroom environments.  There's more to say about Wyatt's room, like: We love butterflyies (See our Monarch Project).  Perhaps over time I'll add some more thoughts about it.
